Keyho said the decision was taken following the meeting of the Kiloneers Council, FGN, held on March 25, 2024.
Keyho said the 'official direction' is being issued in the interest of the people as a whole that "it is imperative that the Naga National Council (NNC) and the Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) reject India's sham elections in Nagaland." Since 1952.
He emphatically stated that the Naga Nation (NNC/FGN) has strongly refrained from getting involved in the so-called elections of India and its subordinate entity, the puppet state of Nagaland.
In this regard, Keyho warned of action against any NNC/FGN operatives who interfere in the said elections. Furthermore, the NNC/FGN called on all "to stand united and stand firm as one sovereign people exercising their birthrights as democratic Nagas."
Keyho said that so-called national workers who intimidate, threaten and attack fellow Nagas at gunpoint, and join or participate in "enemy elections" are not true national workers. He labeled them as "enemy agents, anti-Naga people and money-lenders", and said that they were staunch enemies of the Nagas and the Naga nation.
