Mizoram News | NIA Apprehends Man for Cross-Border Arms Smuggling in Mizoram

On Saturday, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested a man in Mizoram for his involvement in smuggling of arms, ammunition and explosives into the northeastern states.

In an official statement, the NIA revealed that extensive searches were conducted at six locations, including two gun shops in Aizawl. These operations culminated in the arrest of Solomona, also known as Haminga. During the raid, officials seized substantial quantities of explosive materials, ammunition, digital devices, documents and other incriminating items. Solomona is the second person to be arrested in this case.
