A staff member of Global Ceramics Pvt. Ltd, located at the ground level of Baliram Hariram Tower building along Tajen Ao Road, reportedly shot himself using a legally owned .32 caliber pistol at about 9am on Tuesday. :55 am"
DCP (Crime) and Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Dimapur police department revealed that they were alerted by Rajesh Gupta, manager of Global Ceramic Pvt Ltd. Ltd., in connection with a tragic incident. Gupta said one of his employees, identified as Sandeep Kumar Pandey, tragically took his own life.
The PRO said the police teamfound the deceased with a bullet wound on his forehead, as well as a .32 caliber pistol placed above his chest.
Police searched the spot and collected evidence which was sent to FSL Guwahati. The PRO said a case of "unnatural death" has been registered at West PS and investigation is underway.
