Top-level GPRN/NSCN insiders have verified to Nagaland Post that Kitovi Zhimomi's removal from his post was done as a component of the organization's "restructuring" efforts.

Meanwhile, according to a signed 'manifesto' being widely circulated on social media, the GPRN/NSCN said Kitovi 'knowingly violated Article 18 of the National Yehzabo (Constitution) and Party Discipline Section-A Section-8 and the Party Discipline has been violated. Section-C Section-4.
After being convened at CHQ's Tatar Hall for an 'Emergency National Assembly', participants wrote a document detailing concerns over former Ato Kilonser's leadership.
