Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh strongly condemned the attack and emphasized the huge loss of lives of security personnel committed to maintaining peace and stability in the state.
In a social media update, the Chief Minister said, "These acts reveal the cowardice towards our dedicated security personnel, who work tirelessly to maintain peace in our state. Their sacrifice will always be remembered."
Also, Kuki Impi Manipur (KIM), representing the pinnacle of Kuki tribal leadership, strongly condemned the terrorist attack on central security forces, whose duty is to maintain public security.
The KIM statement strongly condemned the attack, calling it a "senseless act" that undermines law and order, while also highlighting the "unchecked freedom" enjoyed by "valley-based insurgent groups" under the state governmentgovernment.
