Nagaland Kohima | Concluding NCAP Workshop: Key Insights and Shared Conclusions

District Administration, Kohima organized the valedictory function of Intensive Public Engagement and Consultation (Workshops and Programs in Colleges) under National Clean Air Program (NCAP) 2023-24 on 25th April in the conference room of Deputy Commissioner, Kohima.

The DIPR report states that the district administration has organized several awareness programs, lectures and competitions at Kohima College and Sazoli College in partnership with Zub-Zub India from February 21, 2024.

In the valedictory function, Kumar Ramanikant, Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, urged the students of both the colleges to become agents of change in protecting the environment.

The winners of the video reel making competition were awarded cash prizes along with certificates and consolation prizes.

The video reels created by students of Kohima College and Sazolie College were found to have over 230,000 shares on Instagram, reflecting significant progress in public awareness and engagement. Additionally, to sustain and enhance these awareness efforts, bicycles and dustbins were presented to NSS of Sazolie College and Friends with Nature Club of Kohima College.
