He reminded everyone of Amit Shah's pledge that the central government would offer a comprehensive solution encompassing legislative, executive and financial autonomy within just 75 days. However, with a heavy heart he admitted that despite the passage of the initial 75-day period and almost two years now, no concrete progress has been made so far.

He announced, "In a firm expression of our deep dissent towards the Government of India, we are burning the effigies of the Prime Minister, the Union Home Minister and the President of the BJP. Sticking to his conviction, Chingmak affirmed that the residents of eastern Nagaland will remain steadfast in their protest until the central authorities uphold their commitments.

He recognized the plight of the population of Eastern Nagaland and stressed the need to endure hardships on the way to achieving his objectives. Urging understanding from the community, the ENSF President urged them to hold firm until their demands are resolved.
