A collaborative effort between central and state security forces in southern Manipur led to the discovery of an arms depot in an abandoned hideout of miscreants.

This operation was conducted in Hyanglam Lukak Yangbi village of Kakching district of Manipur.

This resulted in the recovery of a large quantity of weapons and other items including sacks of rice. Despite efforts, the miscreants managed to escape.

The recovered items, which included various firearms, hand grenades, shells and military gear, were handed over to Manipur Police for legal processes.
